A beautiful Faberge gold, gilded silver and guilloche enamel belt buckle, St. Petersburg, circa 1896-1908. Dimensions: 2 1/4 x 1 3/8 in. Of oval form, the buckle enameled in translucent mauve over a wavy engine-turned ground. Struck on the back, edge and prong with Faberge, 56 Russian gold standard (14k equivalent), 88 Russian silver standard and kokoshnik marks. Dimensions: 2 1/4 x 1 3/8 in. (5.7 x 3.5 cm).
