A Russian gilded silver & shaded cloisonné enamel kovsh, Ivan Saltykov, Moscow, 1899-1908. Of traditional oval form with hook handle, the kovsh decorated with scrolling multi-color floral & foliate motifs against a gilded stippled ground within a turquoise beaded border. Struck on underside with maker’s mark, 84 standard, & scratched inventory mark 14648. Length: 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm).
